RESEARCH INTERESTS AND EXPERIENCE:


Sedimentary rocks and marine sediments; processes of transportation, deposition and redeposition of the sedimentary material; sedimentology; new clay forming in pore space of the oil reservoir, lithology; grain size analysis; clay and bulk mineralogy by XRD methods; x-ray structural analysis (Ritveld methods) of minerals and crystal materials, modeling of x-ray diffraction patterns of clay minerals. Investigation of clay minerals crystal size distribution and its influence on structural, chemical and physical properties. Investigation of gas fluids influence on grain size and crystal structure of clay minerals of marine sediments. Study of relations between reservoir properties and autogenic clay forming.
